Hopmon's Mansion

~:FIRERED/LEAFGREEN:~
Pokemon LeafGreen and FireRed are the newest Pokemon GBA games available so far. It's basically the same as the original R/B/Y versions, with extra features and the newest places--the Islands.
Starting Pokemon--Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur.

Cheats/Hints:

How to get Deoxys:
To get Deoxys, you need to get to get an Aurora Ticket to get to Island 9 (it can only be obtained in an Nintendo Event). On Island 9 you'll have to push a triangle forward without bumping into it like SMACK! Just approach it and push the UP button.

Get the National Dex:
The National Dex contains information of all 386 Pokemon. You can get it by having over 60 Pokemon when you defeat the Elite Four. Professor Oak will give it to you.

Mystery Gift:
To activate Mystery Gift, go to a PokeMart in your game at any city and on the little clipboard beside the manager, put in "LINK TOGETHER WITH ALL". Then save and reload. You'll see a Mystery Gift option under "New Game".

How Much Your Pokemon Likes You:
To determine how much your Pokemon likes you, use a healing item like a Potion on it outside of battle. The closer it moves toward you the more it likes you.

First Jhoto Pokemon:
To see get your first Jhoto Pokemon, go to Island 3 after you defeat the Elite Four. Walk through the tunnel and receive a Nugget from the man there. Go out the door where you'll see a small patch of grass. That's where you'll meet your first Jhoto Pokemon!

Kanto Gym Leaders:

Gym #1 Pewter City--Brock: Rock Types: Geodude Lv. 12 & Onix Lv. 14
Brock uses Rock-type Pokemon, though both his Pokemon are also half Ground. If you started with Bulbasaur or Squirtle it shouldn't be too hard if they are on a decent level, but if you picked Charmander you should either catch a Mankey or if you're really desperate, get a Butterfree with Confusion and bring lots of Potions and a couple of Revives. Beat him to get the Boulder Badge.

Gym #2 Cerulean City--Misty: Water Types: Staryu Lv. 18 & Starmie Lv. 21
Misty's Starmie is also half Psychic-type. Use an Electric Pokemon, namely Pikachu at a high level. You'll start well if you started with a Bulbasaur, otherwise catch a Grass-type in the grass beside Nugget Bridge. Watch out for Starmie's Water Pulse, it's harsh! Beat Misty to obtain the Cascade Badge.

Gym #3 Vermillion City--Lt. Surge: Electric Types: Voltorb Lv. 21, Pikachu Lv. 18, & Raichu Lv. 24
Lt. Surge is very easy to defeat if you have a Sandshrew or another Ground-type that know Dig. Don't bring Water or Flying-types, they won't last long. I recommend you catch a Sandshrew on the route beside Diglett Cave. Defeat him to obtain the Thunder Badge.

Gym #4 Celadon City--Erika: Grass Types: Victreebell Lv. 29, Tangela Lv. 24, & Vileplume, Lv. 29
You'll need the HM moves Cut to get through the gym. Bring Fire-types and Flying-types for the best of luck. And because all of Erika's Pokemon are Grass-types, bring along healing items to cure Paralysis, Sleep, and Poison conditions that are likely to happen. Defeat her to obtain the Rainbow Badge.

Gym #5 Saffron City--#1 Sabrina: Psychic Types: Kadabra Lv. 38, Mr. Mime Lv. 37, Venomoth Lv. 28, & Alakazam Lv. 43
Sabrina's Pokemon has weaknesses to Dark-types, and although Kanto doesn't have any Dark-types, you use a Pokemon that has Dark attacks. You can also use Ghost-types. Defeat her to get the Marsh Badge.

Gym #5 Saffron City--#2 Karate Master: Fighting Types: Hitmonchan Lv. 37 & Hitmonlee Lv. 37
Use Flying moves. Win and get either a Hitmonchan or Hitmonlee.

Gym #6 Fuschia City--Koga: Poison Types: 2 Koffings Lv. 37, Muk Lv. 39, & Weezing Lv. 43
Use Psychic and Ground Pokemon, and remember to bring lots of Antidotes to cure Poison. Defeat him to get the Soul Badge.

Gym #7 Cinnibar Island--Blaine: Fire Types: Growlithe Lv. 42, Ponyta Lv. 50, Rapidash Lv. 42, & Arcanine Lv. 47
Use Rock and Water moves. Bring some Burn Heals, too.

Gym #8 Viridian City--Giovanni: Ground Types: Ryhorn Lv. 45, Dugtrio Lv. 42, Nidoqueen Lv. 43, Nidoking Lv. 45, & Rydon Lv. 50
Use strong Water-types, Ground-types, Ice-types, and Grass-types for an extremely easy win if they're at a good level. Beat this Team Rocket Leader and get the Earth Badge.

Elite Four

Elite Four #1--Lorelei: Ice/Water Types: Dewgong Lv.52, Cloyster Lv.51, Slowbro Lv.52, Jynx Lv.54, & Lapras Lv.54
You might think about Fire, but some of Lorelei's Pokemon are also Water types, so Electric moves will be the best. Win and get

Elite Four #2--Bruno: Fighting Types: Onix Lv.51, Hitmonchan Lv.53, Hitmonlee Lv.53, Onix Lv.54, Machamp Lv.56
Flying moves are the best. Don't use Normal types, for they are easily crushed by Bruno's Pokemon. Use Grass/Water moves on Onix. Psychic types will work, too, but you will need strong ones.

Elite Four #3--Agatha: Ghost Types: Gengar Lv.54, Golbat Lv.54, Arbok Lv.56, Haunter Lv.53, Gengar Lv.58
Don't use Normal or Psychic attacks...bring Full Heals and Full Restores...Use Electric moves on Golbat...

Elite Four #4--Lance: Dragon Types: Gyarados Lv.68, Kingdra Lv.66, Dragonair Lv.66, Aerodactyl Lv.70, & Dragonite Lv.72
Use Electric attacks on Gyarados and Kingdra, and Ice types on the others. Try to avoid using Dragon-type Pokemon. Bring lots of Full Restores!

Champion--Your Rival: Many Types:
If you chose Bulbasaur: Heracross Lv.72, Alakazam Lv.73, Tyranitar Lv.72, Gyarados Lv.73, Exeggcutor Lv.73, Charizard Lv.75
If you chose Charmander: Heracross Lv.72, Alakazam Lv.73, Tyranitar Lv.72, Exeggcutor Lv.73, Arcanine Lv.73, Blastoise Lv.75
If you chose Squirtle: Heracross Lv.72, Alakazam Lv.73, Tyranitar Lv.72, Gyarados Lv.73, Arcanine Lv.73, Venusaur Lv.75
This will depend on the starter you chose, and I suggest you use type advantage for this.
