Well I did work what did you think I bluffed? Na! Working gave me the immense confidence that I treasure right now. It provided me to set my goals right and also my cell phone, a Sony Ericsson K300i
I worked for a American Call Center called 'eFunds International' as a Team Member. I worked for about 10 Months (Sept '03 - June '04) and then left the job for academic purposes, I wanted to complete my graduation and also finish off my projects. The first job was a truly amazing experience, I never had felt more confidence built in to me. It brought me immense confidence of working, of earning my own money. It showed me how to face life and live as it comes. The colleagues and the bosses I had were amazing and were transformed in to best buddies.
Later I had a small stint with Sutherland Global a call center with Technical processes. DELL Computers was the project I was involved with. The main job there was to troubleshoot their Dimension range of desktops. The work was pretty simple but the implementation was a bit tedious. You had to fill all kinds of forms to have the data up and ready. But all this was just for a small time and I had no intensions to continue, so I quit. Besides I had bought my cell phone that I wanted. Tho I really wanted a Nokia 6600, but I settled in for a Sony Ericsson K300i and very happy about it.
I now currently work with Lionbridge Technologies as a Production Co-Ordinator. My profile here is to get files from the translators and then compile, check and troubleshoot them. Well I have just started on this one so there is nothing much to talk about. Just trying to enjoy the stay over here.
