Jenna:  Is there an accident? 

Chauffeur: Ah, it's like the radio said, the park road to Fifth Street's blocked off. 

Jenna: For how long? We'll never get to the airport at this rate. (out the window to someone walking by) Oh, excuse me, do you know why this road is all blocked off? 

Man: Yeah, Frank is getting married. He's Buzz Cooper's boy. Don't you know that? 

Jenna: (as the man walks away) Who the heck is Buzz Cooper? 

Chauffeur: A war hero. (smiles) Before your time.

(Annoyed, Jenna rolls her eyes. Meanwhile, Buzz and Grady, Jenna's partner in crime, sneak through the crowd at the wedding while the reverend is preaching and finally duck into an abandoned building of some sort.) 

Buzz: Isn't she something? 

Grady: She's also as big as a house. 

(Buzz hits him over the head.) 

Grady: Hey, watch your hands. 

Buzz: Watch your mouth. What about the maid of honor? 

Grady: Okay, okay, she's good. So, you mind if we get out of here now before the pilot takes off without you? 

Buzz: In a minute. 

(Grady goes out into the crowd, while Buzz stands in the doorway watching the rest of the ceremony. Jenna, tired of waiting in traffic I guess, eventually joins the crowd as well. After the ceremony, Harley makes a toast - because "why should only the men make the toasts?" - and then Buzz sits down inside as the theme song starts playing in the background.) 

Buzz: And may you all have happy lives (laughing) without me. Oh, I'm sorry, my babies. I don't know what could have been so important. Not a minute of it made as much difference to my life as this! (He raises what appears to be a flower pot.) To a long life, and much happiness! 

Scene II:  Later, when Eleni throws the bouquet, which she had promised to aim in Harley's direction, Jenna rushes over to catch it and it falls to the floor, and Jenna snatches it up as "Dancing in the Street" starts playing. Jenna looks up and finds herself facing Vanessa, who is glaring at her.

Jenna: Oh, did you bring work with you this afternoon? 

Vannessa:  Oh, I didn't come for the wedding, but I figured I'd be a lot more welcome than you are. 

(Vanessa then turns to leave. Harley also gives Jenna a dirty look, and then some woman who I am guessing was an extra states her disapproval.) 

Extra: Did you see that flying tackle? What's she doing here? 

(Jenna walks away, somewhat embarassed, and sees Grady dancing with Bridget!) 

Jenna: (shocked) Grady? 

(Before she can say anything else, Buzz comes out and drags her into that abandoned building in which he had been hiding.) 

Jenna: (stunned) Rex, you were supposed to be... 

Buzz: Leaving, I know. 

Jenna: I was on my way to the airport to say goodbye to you, but the road was all blocked. 

Buzz:  Well, which doesn't answer the question: Why am I here? Why are you here, on this side of the glass, watching how happy people look... 

Jenna:  They do seem very happy, don't they? 

Buzz: ... when we could be on that side of the glass, for once in our lives, if you want to be? 

Jenna: The pilot's waiting for you, and there are a lot of people out there who are... 

Buzz: I know I can't stay, but you can come...with me. 

Jenna: (sarcastically, turning away) Go away with you? Where, Pittsburgh? 

Buzz: Anywhere, you'll see. Leave Mr. Thorpe, leave the checkbook, leave the driver, and just go. 

Jenna: And how would we live? 

Buzz: (laughing) Okay, take the checkbook! What have you got here? 

Jenna: Oh, only everything I ever wanted! 

Buzz:  Okay, you wanted it, you got it. Now it's not doing what it's supposed to do, so want something else. 

Jenna: (turning away again) I can't leave Roger! 

Buzz: Oh come on, you're not in love with him, you're in cahoots with him! You could be in that with me; you could be in more than that with me! 

Jenna:  Look, maybe he doesn't take my breath away, but that's what I want! Now, if you could stay, if you could stay, maybe there would be something between us. Something like a doomed affair or a continuation of this dangerous flirtation, but as for the other thing - security, white lace, a belief in the future - that doesn't happen for people like us! 

Buzz: (excited) Why, because we're reckless, because we go for thrills? Let me give you a piece of Spanish news: Look out there - those two are doing something more reckless than anyone has ever done! Come on, they're jumping out of an airplane without a parachute and trying to find someplace to land without breaking their necks! Flirtation? Flirtation? I don't want to give you shivers and have to dive under the bed because Mr. Thorpe comes tromping up the stairs! I want something I can bite into, something so big (puts his hands on his temples) that it will drive me permanently insane! I always said, I'll know it when I see it. I see it, I know it. Aw, come on! Come on! I know this town like the back of my hand, I can get us out of here. And you will hear violins in the skies over Pittsburgh, I promise. 

Jenna:  I bet I would, and I know I'm always going to be sorry... 

(He grabs her and kisses her, but she breaks away and runs off in tears.)
