| When Tina goes on trial for Maria's murder Gabrielle moves in to become Al's "Nanny" and agrees not to lay claim to her child...for the time being... to save Tina's neck. She's introduced to Clint (Clint Richie) and Asa ( Phil Carey) Buchanan. Steve helps her move in but Tina is hostile, especially when she hears Gabrielle referring to herself as Al's mother during a private conversation. Tina is also jealous when she sees Gabrielle and Max sharing Al, while Gabrielle is moved to see father and son bonding... |

| Cord announces he's moving back in so Gabrielle can now go home. Gabby says thanks but no thanks, that Al needs stability right now. Cord is confused but Tina and Gabby do some fancy foot work and he acquieses. Later Tina says goodbye to Al as she goes to the courthouse to testify in her trial. |

| After Tina is forced to tell the truth about Al at her trial a stunned Max rushes to see his son. Then he turns on a stunned Gabrielle and demands to know why she kept him from their son. Even when she explains that she thought he was married to Tina, that she thought she was sending Al to his father, that Tina's lies, her Abuela's murder, the threat of Rolo, and Tina's trial prevented the truth from coming out later, Max blames Gabrielle and basically gives Tina a free pass. Arghhhhh. He's then angry when she says she wants her son back, he's concerned about what it will do to Tina. Enter a devestated Cord, who also now knows the truth. |
