She confides in her Abuelita that she's pregnant only to find out later that Max (James DePaiva) is already "married" to Tina and absolutely clueless.... he still wants to be "friends" ... SMACK |

| Gabrielle finds out her father is a Drug Lord and during their fight accidently spills that she's pregnant by Max. She goes to her Abuela's for comfort but as she's leaving sees her father trying to shoot Max. She hits his arm and the bullet finds Maria (Barbara Luna) . Later, Max instead of thanking her for saving her life berates her for not agreeing to help bring down her father, and says like father like daughter.... attempted (well deserved) SMACK |

| After Tina (Andrea Evans) is kidnapped, Gabrielle tracks down her father, only to become another hostage. Her father argues the point with henchman Jamie and is shot. Jamie then strikes and knocks out Gabrielle before taking off with Tina. Gabrielle grieves over her dying father. Max, Cord (Jon Loprieno) and Kate (Marcia Cross) arrive and Max first comforts Gabrielle then screams at her for Tina's predicament. (typical) |
