| Asa is thrilled with Gabby's progress and
bids her good luck on her Ben mission. Gabrielle arrives at Llanfair to
speak with Ben but he's not home Viki is, and she's still holding a grudge
over Gabrielle's part (which was in actuality almost non-existant except
that she took the fall for it and went to prison for 7 years for it; can
you say history re-write?) Carlo's plan to kill Megan. Viki is immuned
to Gabrielle's offer of an olive branch in her new role as Ben's step mother,
she won't even call her "Mum" ;-)
Gabrielle meets Nora to discuss Max's pettition to have Al's adoption overturned, and bad-mouths Max in the process as a deadbeat dad. Nora tells her Max has withdrawn it and then unfathomably defends Max as a good father. Gabrielle backs off citing a mother's concern. Nora understands and gives Gabby her card when she should need a lawyer for her ineviatble divorce from Asa! Next up on Gabby's agenda, Ben. She arrives at his bar and introduces herself as Asa's new wife, inviting him to their wedding party. She tells Ben she wants to unify the family but before she gets anywhere Viki blows in and Gabby leaves before she can catch a chill. Later Gabrielle finally runs into a friendly face from the past; Bo embraces her, actually happy to see her. Gabrielle takes note and even laughs off Bo's joke that he's now Police Comissioner so she better behave. (May 2001) |
