| Max thinking he's berating Alex tears off
the brides wedding veil only to be surprised by Gabrielle. Max in
shock flashes back to his memories of Gabrielle. He's even more in
shock when Gabrielle informs him that she is indeed the new (and
11th) Mrs. Asa Buchanan. After Asa leaves to deal with Alex, Rev.
Andrew Carpenter (Wortham Krimmer) congratulated Gabrielle, and gives Max
a reassuring arm pat.
Max demands to know if she loves Asa, and
Gabrielle proclaims it ceased to be his business after he left her to rot
in prison, then failed to pay child support when Al came to live with her
even while he was playing at being billionaire Asa's son. He then
wants to know what Al thinks of it, only to be confronted by Al calling
Asa "Pa" and finding out that Asa has adopted him. Gabrielle leaves
her son to talk with Max. (May 11-15)
