What is your favorite TV show? Fiona: There are two of them. They come on BBC America: One is Ground Force, where they remake the gardens, and the other one is Changing Rooms, which is the original English version of Trading Spaces. Gabrielle: She's a movie girl, she doesn't watch television. She watches all the tearjerkers like Casablanca and South Pacific. What kind of music do you like? Fiona: I like all kinds of music really, but I love jazz. [My husband] John [Viscardi, ex-Father Tony] plays a really good jazz piano. It's very sexy and it's one of the reasons I fell in love with him. Gabrielle: The Argentinean beat. |
What possession could you not
live without?
Fiona: My little red tweezers. You never know when you'll have to pluck an eyebrow! They're also very useful when things get stuck - they work for everything. Gabrielle: Her son, and I know that he's a person, but that's where Gabrielle is a little twisted. She could not live without Al. He's not a possession, but that's where she's slightly off her rocker! You just won the lottery... what will you do? Fiona: I would take my family and we would travel the world. We'd see each place for a fair amount of time, get to know it, learn different languages and how the different cultures live. Gabrielle: She would give everything she could to her son,, and she'd love to live in luxury. She'd need the big mansion. What is the most important quality in a friend? Fiona: Trust. If I can't trust you, then I can't get close to you. It's hard to let you in. Gabrielle: "Trust. This is a new development - she's learning how important it is." You're on a long plane ride and have the choice of sitting next to the Pope, the president or Madonna. Who would you choose? Fiona: President Bush. I'd like to know everything that's going on out there. There's a font of information that we're not getting. Gabrielle: The Pope, without question. She is a reformed Catholic and extremely religious. It's embedded with bad luck omens and voodoo, however! What is your personal motto? Fiona: Put your faith and trust in the Lord, and tomorrow will come. Gabrielle: Love me, love me, please love me! My life would be much less complicated if... Fiona: My life is not complicated. It's the simplest it's ever been. Gabrielle: I'd never met Max, and Nora was out of the picture. What is your favorite spare time activity? Fiona: Yoga and spending time with my family. Gabrielle: Shopping. |
