Most Unusual Job:  "The first commercial I ever did was for a German Shampoo called Shamp 2.  I was the Shamp 2 girl.  When they hired me, I didn't know I'd have to say anything.  When I got there they had a script all in German.  They said they had a German tutor for me.  I got in front of the camera, under a real shower and said word for word what I was told to say, having just learned it in the dressing room -- not knowing what I was saying!  So I did my job and thought, "What an unusual way to make money.'  The commercial ran for two years."

Favorite Actor:  "I have a great deal of favorites.  Don Johnson is very underrated.  I also think Tom Hanks is really wonderful.  And Alec Baldwin is going to be around for a long, long time.  Finally, I adore Robert Redford just because he's Robert Redford!"

Favorite Actress:  "Meryl Streep is an incredible technician.  I think she's now doing comedies very well.

Favorite Movie:  South Pacific.. "It was so romantic.  I fell in love with the thought of being in love when I watched that film."

Favorite TV Show:  "I really do like Bill Cosby.  I wasn't an avid viewer of Cosby, but I have to say I did enjoy it.  The Roseanne show is also very good, but I have to be honest.  Even though Roseanne is great, the show wouldn't be what it is without John Goodman.

Favorite Book: Lord of the Flies... "I had to read t a couple of times because I couldn't believe that there was such a horrific story.  I like escapism books, sort of fantasy island type books."

Favorite Vacation Getaway:  The Caribbean... "I love the British Virgin Islands, Tortolo, Virgin Gorda, they're just magnificent."

Favorite Hangout:  Zoccolos...  "The owner is very laid back.  It just opened up near where I live and I've hung out there a few times."

Favorite Color:  Purple.... "It's such a passionate color.  I like all the lavenders that come out of it, too."

Can't Resist:  Animals

Worst Vice:  Tea.. "I suppose that's a vice if you feel one should not be stuck on caffeine, but being brought up in England, life isn't worth living without a cup of tea."

Musical Taste:  harp... "My closest friend is a harpist, so many times I'm treated to listening to live harp in my apartment."

Car You Drive:  A pale blue MGB with gray interior.
 
 

Pet Peeves:  Horns Blowing...  "Getting into a taxi and having the driver constantly honking his horn.  I don't like that at all.  I'll ask them to let me out at the nearest corner and get a new cab.  There's so much noise anyway, and honking the horn isn't going to get us there any quicker."

Best Quality:  "I have a tendency to keep going.  I usually sit back and say, "Okay hit me again, come on, hit me again."

Worst Quality: "Being impatient, I'm trying to be more patient.  I'm impatient with myself as much as I am with other things, waiting for something to be done and feeling that I could have done it quicker."

Hobbies: Painting... "My mother was an artist and we did alot of painting together."

People Would Be Surprised To Know:  When I'm not working I really don't try and pull myself together.  I never wear makeup, it doesn't bother me to do my errands in sweat pants, my hair puled back that really should be washed, socks that necessarily don't match, tennis shoes that have seen a better day.  Many times,  unless they've seen me do Gabrielle (on OLTL) when she was beaten up and crying, they don't know it's me until I open my mouth.  When somebody's staring at me, it always takes me aback.  I never remember right away, I think they want directions or something."

Worst Spending Vice:  Shoes... "This summer I did overdo it.  I bought sandals in every color.  John and I were doing lots of traveling to the islands and the beaches, so I got lots of sandals., so many that I don't even think I wore all of them.  It's a little gross.
