| Jenna
wants to know why Henry called in personal favors hfor her sake.
She thinks he knows more than what he's said, she knows he's hiding something.
Feeling cornered Henry blurts out that he's Jenna's father and before he
can ask Jenna to keep it quiet Vanessa has overheard it at the door.
Jenna is bewildered and elated. She's visibly touched and highly emotional. Vanessa on the other hand is irate and begins to slam Jenna for manipulating her father, for pulling a scam. Henry assures Vanessa that it's no scam by Jenna, that he informed her and not the other way around. Vanessa wants to know why she wasn't told about Jenna when she found out about Quint 10 years earlier. Henry doesn't have many explanations but Vanessa is too angry to hear them anyway and Jenna is too overcome. Later, Jenna tells Henry that if he wants her out of his life just to say the word, she won't impose on him. Henry is touched and tells her he very much wants to be her father. |

Jenna once again comes upon Holly & Roger (again), with the none too gracious but quite bubbly"Oh, are you leaving Holly?" Jenna tells Roger that Holly won't be able to talk to her as if she's a nobody anymore, because now she's a Chamberlain. A shocked Roger asked how she managed to pull that off, and he's mightily impressed by her scope and audacity. Jenna bristl;es that she's not pulling a scam, that Henry told her and she's rather overcome. Roger tries to sooth Jenna who wonders how such a wonderful man like Henry could abandon her mother and her for all theses years, that it just doesn't make any sense. She's thrilled that he's her father, but she's also wary of a dissaproving and resentful Vanessa. She doesn't know if she should accept Henry's invitation to Thanksgiving but Roger urges her to assert her place. After a more than chilling call to Vanessa, Jenna pleads with Roger to come with her and be her support. Roger (standing up Holly's earlier invitation) agrees to come. |
