| Jenna
settles into a bath only to have Roger suddenly appear with keys.
She finds out that Roger has been her secret benefactor (paying her
bail, her hotel bill, sending gifts) but she doesn't want to have this
discussion in her bathroom. Roger offers to hold the towel for her,
she's not amused.
She tells him she could make him sorry for any untoward action he might take. Roger laughs and asks if she has a gun. She rejoins by pulling her trigger finger and blowing him away with bubbles. Roger says he's not there to force anything, he just finds her completely fascinating and captivating and wanted to get to know her better but he'll go away if she wants him to. Jenna tells him the water is very hot..... Jenna
says she was hoping he was her secrert admirer but is wondering why he
said earlier that he was going to testify against her if subpeoned.
Roger said he wasn't joking, he will but it won't come to that. He
has a plan but he doesn't want to divulge his secrets just now ...

| Jenna
decides to take things into her own hands. She learns about the animosity
between Alex and Roger, and Alex's obsession with her son. She recalls
the night she stole the Spaulding jewels and overheard Roger and Alex making
a deal about Nick. She heads off to the mansion and surprises Alex
with an offer... a little silence for some dropped charges. Alex
capitulates. Roger shows up on the same errand... too late but Alex
thinks Roger sent Jenna. Jenna says she likes to work alone but Roger
would know the one thing she liked to do with other people, kisses Roger
goodbye and trots off.
Later Roger (no, your eyes aren't playing tricks, it's a one day only fill in actor for Zaslow ) comes home to find Jenna. He wants to know why she didn't let him take care of it and have a little patience. She says she's not particularly fond of virtues, and she was quite touched that he wanted to take care of her problem but she's more than capable of taking care of herself and she doesn't like it when others no more about her business than she does. |
