Gabrielle entered the apartment after a hard day at the Banner. She let 
out a sigh and checked her inbox. There were three messages. She 
pressed the button to listen and made some tea.

Troy: [voice] Hey, Gabrielle. This is Troy. I was wondering if you were 
free for dinner tonight. Call me. [beeps]

Gabrielle: [half smile] Why not.

Bo: [voice] Hey, honey. I know I said that I was coming home...

Gabrielle: But....

Bo: [voice]...but I'm stuck at the station. Can I take a rain check? 
[beeps]

Max: [voice] Hey, guess what? I have nothing planned for tonight. If 
you need me, I'm here. [beeps]

Gabrielle held her cup to her chin and sighed.

Gabrielle: Of course I need you.

She picked up the phone and dialed a familiar number.

Gabrielle: Hi, it's me.
 

Scene 1 - The Station

Bo and Nora were working their last minute touches on the Mitch 
Laurence case. Nora was touching the back of her hair hoping to arrouse Bo, but he had his mind on other things. 

Nora: Ok, we know of evidence that cleared Blair and Walker, but that 
leaves Dorian and Jessica. We both know that Jessica is incapable of 
killing anyone, so that leaves--

Bo: Gabrielle.

Nora: Wait--you think Gabrielle did this?

Bo: No--hey, I have to be somewhere. You can do this by yourself, can't 
you?

Nora: Yes, bu--

Bo: Thanks. [leaves]

Scene 2 - Bo and Gabrielle's Apartment

Gabrielle lit ten candles for the number of months her and Bo have been 
together. She poured two glasses of champagne and noticed that Bo had 
left his police belt.

Gabrielle: [picks it up] That's odd.

There's a knock at the door. She answers, thinking it might be Bo.

Troy: Hello, Gabrielle.

Gabrielle: Troy, what are you doing here?

Troy: We have a date.

Gabrielle:: No, we don't.

Troy: [sly smile] I remember--we do. I did call to remind you.

Gabrielle: Troy, you called to ask me on a date.

Troy: Well, I'm here.

Gabrielle: Dr. Maciver, would please leave?

Troy: I had a long day--call me Troy.

Gabrielle: Leave.

Troy: Gabrielle--

Max: I think she asked you to leave.

Troy: Gabrielle, we had a date.

Max: Get out or I'll throw you out.

Troy: Hey, I don't want to make trouble. I'll call you.

Max: No you won't.

Troy gave Max a dirty look and left.

Gabrielle: [closing the door behind her] I'm so glad you came when you 
did.

Max: Well, I don't want that creep messing with you. I'll take care of 
him if he calls you again.

Gabrielle: What would I ever do with you?

Their eyes took hold of each other as if they were falling into a 
blackhole and neither knowing where it would lead.
 

Scene 3 - Bo's office

Nora sat in Bo's office alone looking through some papers. There was a 
tapping on the door.

Nora: Come in. [door opens] If you're here about the finger prints, 
they're on the desk. Hang on.

Troy: Hi, Nora.

Nora: [looks up] Troy--what are you doing here?

Troy: I came to see you.

Nora: Is it about Lindsay?

Troy: No-- you. We have left some things unsaid.

Nora: I don't think so. You did enough.

Troy: You didn't give me a chance to explain back at my place.

Nora: And I had good reason.

Troy: Nora, I still love you.

Nora: Go home, Troy.

Troy: No, I'm not going to be rejected again.

Nora got up and faced Troy who took a hold of her and started kissing 
her. The new ADA Daniel Coleson came into the room and got defensive.

Daniel: Let go of her!

Troy took a swing at Daniel, who ducked, and hit Nora instead. Troy 
grinned and ran out of the station.

Daniel: Oh, my, God! Nora, are you okay?

Nora: Ouch! I don't feel ok. My ex-boyfriend missed you and hit me 
instead.

Daniel: I'm sorry--really, I am. Should I call a doctor?

Nora: No, my father used to say I was as strong a man and as pretty as 
a flower.

Daniel: Well, he was right. You're tough, but very beautiful.

Nora: Could you help me up into the chair?

Daniel: Sure.

He gently took her hand and placed her in the chair.

Nora: You know, what?

Daniel: What?

Nora: You're not the monster I thought you were.

They looked into each other's eyes and drifted into a sweet kiss.
 

Scene 4 - Bo and Gabrielle's apartment

Max and Gabrielle were sitting on the couch together. Max clapped his 
hands and the lights went off.

Gabrielle: Did you install a clapper?

Max: I thought the apartment needed a change. It's been this way since 
Bo was with---

Gabrielle: Don't say it. 

Max: I won't.

Gabrielle: I can't believe you brought me strawberries with whipped 
cream.

Max: Wait....[gets up and goes to the sterio] To set the mood. [puts on 
"Baby That's What Love Is All About"] It's our song.

Max sat back down  next to Gabrielle on the couch with the strawberries 
and whipped cream sitting right in front of them on the coffee table. 
Max stopped Gabrielle from taking another bite of her strawberry and 
dipped one in whipped cream. He moved it toward her mouth and she felt the soft cream touch her moist lips. Gabrielle opened her mouth and 
welcomed the sweet juicy strawberry that made her tingle all over, because of the nostalgia of it all.

Gabrielle: Max, they're delicious.

Max: [dipping another delectable strawberry] Here, try this. 

He missed her mouth and got some cream on her nose.

Gabrielle: Max, look what you've done. Where are the napkins?

Max: Allow me.

Gabrielle: Allow you to what?

Max drew close and ate the cream off her nose which caused Gabrielle to 
giggle. He drew back and looked into her blue and greenish eyes and she 
went into a trance from Max's gorgeous blue eyes and smiled.

Max: What are you thinking?

Gabrielle: I'm thinking--all this brings back such wonderful memories 
that we had. [he got close enough to kiss]
No, Max--[stops him] we can't do this.

Max: Yes, we can. [kisses her]

Gabrielle welcomed the kiss and sighed on the unexpected feeling she 
got from it. One thing led to another and Gabrielle and Max were in the 
"casbah." [NOTE: "Casbah" means Castle, which is what Bo called their 
bedroom]
 

Scene 5 - Bo and Gabrielle's Apartment

Bo came through the door and put down his stuff. He looked around the 
room and noticed the strawberries and whipped cream. Bo grinned.

Bo: Honey, are you home? [no answer] Hm, maybe she went to bed early. I think I'll surprise her.

Bo took off his excess police gear and walked toward the bedroom. The 
phone rang.

Bo: Awe, not now. [answers the phone] Hello?

Matthew: Hey, Bo.

Bo: Hi, Matthew. What are you doing?

Matthew: I just want to say, "Hi."

In the background, Bo heard voices.

Bo: Who's that with you?

Starr: [to Matthew] Tell him, Mary Ann.

Matthew: Uh, just my sitter.

Bo: Oh.

Blair came into the room and spotted Matthew and Starr.

Blair: Get in bed, young lady! You, too, young man! Who are you talking 
to?

Matthew: Bo.

Blair: [grabs the phone] Bo?

Bo: I guess you're the sitter.

Blair: I'm sorry for the children bothering you. Starr seems to have 
this idea that Gabrielle isn't right for you and is putting silly ideas 
into Matthew's head.

Bo: Is that right?

Blair: I'm so sorry and it won't happen again. [hangs up]

Bo grinned and did a light chuckle before heading into the bedroom to 
greet his beloved.
 

Scene 6 - Bo and Gabrielle's bedroom, a.k.a. the "Casbah."

Gabrielle laughed fiendishly under the sheets. Bo walked in and saw her 
rustling in the covers. He grinned, took off his shirt and pants and 
got into bed.

Gabrielle: Hmm? B-Bo?

Bo: Hi, honey. I got home early and wanted to [kisses her neck] see you 
and be with you.

Gabrielle: [smiling] Oooh. [kisses him]

Max was under the covers listening.

Bo: [getting closer to Gabrielle] I love you so much.

Gabrielle: I love you, too.

He reached for her chest and discovered that she was only wearing a 
teddy.

Bo: Honey, did you know I'd be here?

Gabrielle: I'm always prepared.

Gabrielle put her foot up against Max's face and he bit her toe. 

Gabrielle: OUCH!

Bo: Are you ok?

Gabrielle smiled and ran her fingers through Bo's nest of grey chest 
hair. She allowed her leg to be nibbled on by Max, who accidentally 
pinched Bo on his butt.

Bo: Oh, honey. [snuggles himself in the sheets]

Gabrielle got a little carried away with Bo since he was her favorite 
of them both. Max was starting to lose breath and peaked out from the 
sheets and watched Bo and Gabrielle going at it. Max went back under the sheets and moved toward her in a sly motion. Max reached her shoulders 
and back and began kissing her gently. Gabrielle let out a moan and 
continued kissing Bo. Max rubbed up and down her leg and caressed it ever so carefully and kissed every square inch. Bo pinned down Gabrielle, as her head sunk down deeper into the soft pillow and make hot assionate 
love.
 

Scene 7

Bo was in the living room reading the paper on the couch. Gabrielle 
peaked her head out from the casbah (bedroom) and looked back to see Max trying to put on his pants.

Gabrielle: Can't you hurry up?

Max: I came here to cheer you up and ended up participating in one of 
your sex games.

Gabrielle: Hush, he might here you.

Max: He didn't notice me in bed and I doubt he will now.

Gabrielle: Max, I didn't even have sex with you.

Max: Is that supposed to make evrything alright? And another thing. Why 
did you shove me under the covers like that?

Gabrielle: I didn't want Bo to see you!

Max: I stayed under there while you and Bo did God knows what. And 
afterwards, you just laid in bed together as if I wasn't even in the room.

Gabrielle: Max, could you just leave?

Max: Is that any way to end a night of passion?

Gabrielle: Goodnight, Max.

Gabrielle went into the kitchen and called Bo, who jumped up as if his 
pants were on fire. Max left the casbah and got out of the apartment 
without Bo knowing.
