| Celia at a local diner makes
a phone call to her chartered plane but when she tries to leave she's cornered
by Jack (Michael Parks) and Margo (Ellen Dolan). Celia tells
Jack he's cute but not her type and Jack flashes his badge at her and asks
her questions about Lily Snyder. Celia says she doesn't know any
Lily and unless she's being detained for breathing too loud or being double
parked she has no idea why Jack is bothering her. She brushes past him
only to be stopped by Holden who says she's the woman who shot at Lily.

Jack isn't getting anywhere
with Celia, not even her name rank and serial number. She laughingly
picks up his nameplate and asks if everyone in the town is related.
Jack wants to know why she was talking to Holden last night. Celia
laughs and says she thought he was cute, is that a crime? She avers
that if they let her go know she'll forget the way she's been harrassed
but Jack asks her about the gun in her purse. Celia only laughs and
says no wonder why it feels so light, is that all?
Holden demands to know how
she knows Simon when Margo comes in and says she's his sister. Celia
laughs that it's not something she's proud of but being related to Simon
isn't illegal either. She then demands that they Mirandize her and
actually arrest her so she can make her one phone call and try to get out
of Oakdale: The Land That Time and Justice Forgot. She calls Rose
and tells her to get over to the police station or she'll spill the beans
to Holden that he's "plucking the wrong chicken".
