| Celia follows Holden from
the TV Studio to the Mona Lisa. She slides up to him at the bar and
flirtingly asks him to shield her momentarily from some unwanted attention.
He's flustered and declares he's married, she's charmed and says how romantic
that he loves his wife. They chat and laugh, but when she gets a
tad too personal and he takes mild offense she apologies and says that's
part of being in the Insurance biz, being nosy. All is forgiven as
they continue to shmooze until Rose shows up and Holden introduces his
new friend Connie La Rue.
Rose drags Celia off to the
ladies room and demands to know what she's still doing in Oakdale and with
Holden. Celia answers that she started to wonder if Holden did indeed
know something about the missing diamond, something Rose doesn't know about.
Rose wants her gone and Celia reminds her she's in charge. Rose ignores
this though and exposes Celia in front of Holden, saying she's just pumping
him for info to find out about some silly diamond. Holden is furious
and wants to know what she has to do with Simon and gets physical with
Celia, who demands that he take his hands off her, disavows any knowledgeof
a diamond and stalks off. Later Rose tells Holden that Celia was
the one shooting at her in Atlantic City, as Celia lurks in the background
and takes photos of them being romantic. (July 17)
