SONG BIRD: Guiding Light's Jenna - now head of Spaulding Enterprises - decides to take a break from the ho-hum drudgery of running the company by hopping up on a piano and singing her heart out March 29.

   "I want to break loose so I stop by a bar and have a few too many drinks," Fiona Hutchison says of the the sexy executive she plays.

   Hutchison - who's been spending three hours a day with a vocal coach preparing for her singing debut - says she and boyfriend John Viscardi (ex-Father Tony, One Life to Live) "studied Michelle Pfeiffer's moves" in The Fabulous Baker Boys to put the proper sizzle in the repertoire, which includes Sooner or Later and Come Rain or Come Shine.

   So can fans expect to see Jenna slinking on the old baby grand, a la Pfeiffer?

   "Whatever I do is enough to attract the attention of "Buzz" (Justin Deas),"  she teases. "It could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship." (Hint: Keep your eyes peeled for some "peeling.")
